We are looking for a culturally-aware and social media savvy strategist to join our growing team. 

Job Summary:

As a Senior Social Strategist at First Tube, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns. Your extensive social media experience will help shape culturally relevant and engaging brand experience campaigns for our clients as well as on new business pitches. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Strategy: Develop comprehensive social engagement and content strategies that align with clients’ goals, target audience, and industry trends.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and oversee content strategies, ensuring that the content aligns with the overall social strategy.
  • Creative Strategy: Partner with Creative Services to develop social-first brand campaigns and help guide creatives/designers on creative/content best practices. 
  • Campaign Planning: Create detailed campaign plans, including content calendars, paid advertising strategies, and KPIs.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives, provide strategic insights, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Social Media Management: Where applicable tied to our brand campaigns, oversee social media accounts, including content posting, community management, and engagement.
  • Industry Expertise: Build and maintain relationships with social media platforms, staying informed of relevant product updates and best practices. Share subject matter expertise and education with the larger First Tube organization. 
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Reporting: In partnership with Brand Solutions and Live Activation teams, prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance to clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Paid Media Strategy: Partnering with Live Activation team on paid media strategies, support and offer recommendations on paid media based on platform expertise. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, with a proven track record of successful campaigns, ideally with experience in talent-led content-driven marketing.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading a team of digital marketing professionals.
  • Proficiency with social and digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and social media management software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Certifications in digital marketing and social media strategy are a plus.
